A Month In Instagram: March Edition
Gosh, is it April already? As my mom likes to say, "the days are long, but the months are short." I take pictures everyday, but Instagram is a way for me to carefully curate my snapshots to tell my story. From my adventures during my daily train ride, to the meals and memories I'm enjoying with my boyfriend, to the shenanigans happening in the office.
Here's a collection of my Instagram highlights this month:
Me, everyday at 5:10pm.
My mom gets tickets to prescreening events all the time. Perks of being the daughter of a semi-famous Cuban blogger.
BTS Thrift Store
Remember that time my boyfriend and I were roped into modeling for a thrift store in Culver City?
BTS Thrift Store
More modeling, more dresses (it was, like, freezing the day we shot this).
Casa de la Lucy
I have always been a staunch believer that twinkle lights can make anything more festive and welcoming.
It's magazine season practically all the time now and I'm learning so much about good layout I could cry.
When my mom has events in LA, her sponsors sometimes put her up in a hotel. Sometimes I get to tag along.
My office is on the same street as the best Cuban restaurant in Los Angeles.
Every Sunday, I'll wake up early, pack a little "workspace" bag and walk downtown to find a new little coffee shop to write, take photos or brainstorm.
Proof that black flats are a staple for the creatives in our office.
Just another Sunday; they have a perfect outdoor patio with wifi and heaters. I edited my first podcast outside.
Loss of Power
Sharing a cab and a subway with an Australian photographer (www.karenburgessphotography.com). We had a such a nice time and I liked her so much that I ended up buying an artist's proof from her the next morning.
Original Pancake House
My sister recently moved back down to Orange County. This was our first outing together and the moment I discovered I might love waffles more than pancakes.
I bought my first car, a red(!) Hyundai Accent, from CarMax with my dad over the weekend. It's so nice to be driving a car that can make it to LA and back.
All trains got shut down because of a "suspicious package" and "police activity" at Norwalk station. We were stuck for 2 hours.
Killing time after work, trying to look like all those fashion bloggers do. Also, I love high-waisted pants.
Borrowing this from my art director; really opening my eyes to the world of advertising and how many other jobs are out there for a graphic designer.
Channeling my inner domestic with my mom and spending the evening before Easter cooking up a storm in her kitchen.
My first magazine cover for Beit T'Shuvah magazine - Spring 2016 edition.
