ABOUT Refuge Recovery

Founded by Noah Levine (Author of Refuge Recovery), the visual identity of Refuge Recovery needed a reinvigorated visual identity and website design, while maintaining the integrity of the existing logo concept.

Fallout.jpg

The Three Jewels of Buddhism encompasses the core mission of Refuge Recovery Treatment Centers. For individuals struggling with addiction, Refuge symbolizes a safe haven and a journey to recovery.

Pulling visual inspiration from the iconic fallout shelter symbolism, I created a bright, inviting visual identity to reflect their core beliefs and mission.

Visual Approach

The visual identity needed to capture the "edge" of those who have struggled with addiction but also the reassuring promise of peace throughout their recovery process. Using muted tones and a pattern treatment extrapolated from the primary logo, we reached a balance of both calm and energy.
