THE PROCESS

Corporate IT Solutions made it their mission to accelerate the adoption of next-generation technologies by delivering support services that shine a spotlight on their clients’ IT challenges.

Our goal was to create a flexible, approachable, and comprehensive brand and dashboard solution that meets the following goals:

Customer-centric. Prioritize systems analysts’ expectations and task prioritize for user flows.

Adaptable. It must reflect our adaptability to current and emerging technologies

THE SOLUTION

A management dashboard that allows systems analysts to respond faster to requests.

 

Part of our guiding design principles for the management dashboard were the following brand statements.

These principles kept us aligned on the product goals and what would eventually turn into a client-facing dashboard, to eliminate design debt and anticipate future user needs.

  1. We take a holistic approach to broadband aggregation.

  2. We shop on behalf of our customers.

  3. We remain carrier-agnostic to objectively approach each scenario and recommend the best solution.

  4. Our multi-disciplinary approach allows us to quickly diagnose unexpected issues.

  5. We’re focused on solutions, not quick fixes.

  6. We’re a sizable organization of industry experts.

  7. We deploy field technicians to install services across North America

  8. We provide proactive network monitoring and management after installation

Working closely with the development team, I created a series of initial wireframe solutions that met the business requirements.

Through initial stakeholder interviews, I refined the key focus areas of the redesigned dashboard and moved into high-fidelity prototyping.
